What makes them different

These are not static trophies.

Badge lifecycle

Violet scans, issues a qualifying mark, keeps watch, and re-evaluates the domain over time.

Living behavior

The URL stays the same while the status reflects the latest qualifying posture that Violet has verified.

Honest qualification

The right path is simple: improve the site, ask Violet to scan, and earn the badge for real.

Important

How qualification really works

The sample URLs shown here are illustrative. A domain must first earn a qualifying Violet result before its permanent badge URL will display an approval mark. Copying another site’s badge address does not grant approval.

Why a badge may disappear

Certificate expired or trust changed
Important headers were removed
Score dropped below the qualifying threshold
The latest verified score dropped below the qualifying threshold
The badge was explicitly revoked or the domain no longer matches its issued record
